CONTEXT: To create a dynamic website that would serve as a powerful magnet, attracting healthcare professionals to the tranquil landscapes and welcoming communities of rural Queens County, Nova Scotia. My vision: To highlight amenities, local activities and uniqueness of the area-- These included pristine beaches, delectable seafood haunts, captivating natural scenery, leisurely boating, lush golf courses, nature trails, and thrilling surfing adventures. CONTEXT: Musée des Acadiens des Pubnicos | Catherine Pothier Exhibit digitized for the web. The goal: To develop a responsive website to showcase the Catherine Pothier exhibit (for online and museum kiosk viewing), complete with image galleries, interactive maps, and timelines. The website is to be primarily viewable on a touchscreen kiosk [4k] installed within the museum exhibition space, to coincide with it's online presence. Careful consideration regarding touch elements and screen burn-in was taken. Desktop layout / flow / UI / concept design by Adam Zinzan.
CONTEXT: Craft beer makers Melanie and Mark of the fabulous, locally owned Hellbay Brewery contacted me to create a stunning and on brand website to match the quality of their ales. The goal: To create an online presence for their brewery and to match the aesthetic of their walk-in establishment and branding, while showcasing their latest award winning craft beers.
CONTEXT: I was contracted to replace QCCR FM Radio's depreciated website with a brand new custom designed website, complete with Listen Live links, On Air DJs, local news and Global News feed intergrations, show schedules, surverys, weather reports, podcasts, the whole nine yards. The goal: To develop a robust online hub related to the local radio station's many programmes, podcasts, news updates and advertising oppertunities.
CONTEXT: I was asked to design and develop a new and improved QGH Foundation website (to replace their existing website). The goal: To design and build a welcoming, attractive website with strong brand presence, focused on informing guests (and donors) about the non-profit charity organization's history, volunteers, fundraisers, news updates, accomplished goals and noble endeavours. As an NPO, importance was placed on charitable donations. Guests and interested parties can learn how to become a donor by visiting the "donate" section and see their "gifts in action" via a list of purchased medical equipment. A section was designed specifically for admins to create news posts about new ER / family doctors and reports to keep the public in the loop.
PROFICIENT IN: Product label design, website graphic design, physical print and ad design. Context: Hellbay Brewery labels for most of their craft beers. Ad design for online use. Banner design for online and print. Brochure and pamphlet design for print. And even book design (100+ pages for print).
